Offering ridesharing services for kids, Zum has garnered $40 million in new funding, the service announced today.
BMWi Ventures led the round, along with Seqouia Capital and Spark Capital joining in this Series C funding round. The startup has so far raised $70 million in funds.
According to Zum, 5 million safe miles have been driven by this startup, with over 500 thousand kids safety transported to and from the more than 2000 schools that work with Zum.
Zum currently serves schools in Illinois, California and Texas, with plans to expand further in the future.
