Zola Tying the Knot With New Digs

Zola, the online wedding startup is growing rapidly. And to prove it, it’s moving to a new location in 7 World Trade Center in New York City, the company’s home base.

Zola signed an 11 year lease for a 30,000 square foot location on the 39th floor. Zola will be paying its new landlord, Silverstien Properties, $80 per square foot.

According to CEO Shan-Lyn Ma, Zola’s fast growth necessitated it’s relocation from its old 150 Broadway home.

“We’ve tripled our headcount in the past two years and we needed to find a building that could accommodate our fast growth and big vision for the future,” Ma told GlobeSt.com, in an interview.

In its fifth year in business, Zola has raised more than $140 million in financing.
