Workplace Collaboration Platform Hive Raises $10.6 Million

It’s been a productive time at Hive, as its collaboration platform for the modern office has received new funding.

The New York based startup received $10.6 million in new funding, led by Comcast Ventures, with assistance from Rembrandt Venture Partners, Vocap Investment Partners and Tribeca Venture Partners.

Hive provides real-time collaboration that powers the fast pace at Google, Uber, Starbucks, WeWork and other companies that have adopted the platform. Launched from global accelerator AngelPad, the company has raised $14.6 million in funding since its inception.

Hive plans to update its platform by automating its chat, email, tasks, notes and analytics functions.
