Web Security Startup Namogoo Lands $40 Million

Namogoo, a Boston based startup,  announced it raised new funding to make web surfing safer.

The startup announced it has raised $40 million in Series C funding from sole investor Oak HC/FT. Existing investors Blumberg Capital, Hanaco Ventures and GreatPoint Ventures participated in the round as well. The company’s total funding is now $69  million.

Matt Streisfeld, Oak HC/FT partner, will join Namogoo’s board of directors.

Namogoo’s disruptive technology is designed to identify and block unauthorized advertising placed into web sessions which annoy customers and skew conversion rates. SAP, Microsoft and Salesforce are among the startups key customers.
