Boston based video conferencing startup Owl Labs has announced it has raised new funding to keep its growth going.
The startup raised $15 million in its Series B round, thanks to contributions from Spark Capital (lead), Playground Captial and Matrix Partners. It’s total funding to date is now $22.3 million.
The company provides clients with a 360 degree smart video conferencing camera that resembles an owl (hence the company’s name) to connect participants in online meetings. Clients use Meeting Owl with Zoom, Google Hangouts and other platforms to connect.
Owl projects that over 10 million meetings will be used with it’s Meeting Owl device in 2020.
