A fast growing startup that helps businesses get the most out of their front facing staffers announced it has raised new funding.

San Francisco based MindTickle announced it has received $40 million in Series C venture capital funding. This funding round, which follows an earlier $27 million Series B round in December 2017, was led by Norwest Venture Partners. Canaan Partners, Qualcomm Ventures and NewView rounded out this funding round.

MindTickle also welcomes ex-Salesforce executive Scott Beechuck to its board of directors.

MindTickle helps companies assess, implement and develop the capabilities of their front-facing employees. Their current base of users includes Benetton, Unisys, Cloudera, Square and Sumologic.

“By measuring data related to learning content engagement, assessed proficiency and demonstrated performance in near-real world environments, and then correlating these platform data sets to pipeline management metrics, we’re able to provide the leading indicators of real-world success,” said co-founder and CEO Krishna Depura, in a blog post.

Depura adds that the new funding will help MindTickle grow while supporting on-going investments in their expanding products and services.
