Software Startup Celonis Announces $290 Million Funding

Celonis, which provides artificial intelligence enhanced Process Mining and Process Excellence software, announced it has raised $290 million in Series C funding.

The investors contributing to this funding round are Arena Holdings, which leads this round, 83 North, Accel Partners, Ryan Smith and Tooey Courtenmanche. The company’s valutation after this funding round is $2.5 billion.

Celonis’ software transforms data into insight and action. Its Intelligent Business Cloud allows organizations to understand and improve the operational backbone of their businesses. Several companies, including AIrbus, Lufthansa, Siemens, 3M and Uber use Celonis to guide actions and drive change to business processes. These companies save millions of dollars and improve customer experiences.

This latest funding round brings Celonis’ total funding investment to $370 million since its first in June 2016.
