Roofstock, an Oakland, California based startup which markets single-family rentals, announce it hired a former Tesla executive to help lead its operations.
Fiona Taylor has been hired as Roofstock’s Vice President of Operations where she will lead the company’s offices in Oakland and in Dallas, Texas. She will report directly to co-founder and CEO Gary Beasley.
Taylor was Senior Director of Business Operations and Customer Service at Tesla, where she managed more than $13 billion in funds for over 75 different investment vehicles. Before she came to Tesla, she worked at SolarCity, Visa, Standard and Poor’s, and Fitch Ratings.

Roofstock, launched in 2016, provides all of the resources for investors to buy, own and sell real estate online. It offers single-family rentals in 41 markets and 23 states in the U.S. It has completed more than $1 billion of property sales since its launch.
