Qualcomm Wants U.S. to Ban Sales on Some iPhones

The international row between smartphone makers Qualcomm and Apple is intensifying, now possibly affecting sales of some iPhones in the United States.

Qualcomm has asked the U.S. International Trade Commission to review a ruling that a ban on some imports of iPhones would not be in the public interest. The ITC said today it would honor that request. Qualcomm claims Apple’s iPhone infringes on their patents.
