PaaS for Salons Boulevard Raises $11 Million

Platform-as-a-Service for salons, spas and other appointment based businesses Boulevard announced it has raised new funding to expand its business.

The West Hollywood, California based startup announced it has raised $11 million in Series A funding from Index Ventures which lead the funding in this round. Supporting investors in this round include  Luma Launch, Ludlow Ventures, Box Group and Bonfire Ventures.

Boulevard was developed from years of behind-the-counter and back-office research, combined with an intimate understanding of the spa/salon industry day-to-day operations. Boulevard streamlines processes like booking, scheduling, inventory management, commissions, payroll, and payments, while letting businesses to provide hyper-personalized experiences to clients. Users get customized reporting, insights, backed up with seamless onboarding and migration with 24/7 support and assistance.

The startup plans to use the new funding to grow its staff in a variety of departments, including product, engineering and business development.
