Nina Achadjan, who has worked at Index Ventures for three years, has been promoted to partner at the VC, the firm announced today.
Achadian was previously a Citigroup bond trader who also worked at Google for two years. She developed an investment thesis in vertical SaaS based software targeting small and mid sized businesses. She has invested in several top companies such as ServiceTitan, Shopmonkey (where she is a board member) and Double, and also has investments in the works.
“Nina embodies the Index culture and our values,” said Mike Velopi, co-founder of Index Ventures, in a blog post. She truly partners with founders, has genuine intellectual curiosity, and her passion for helping build our firm and team is contagious. We cannot think of anyone more deserving to become a Partner here at Index and we are excited to continue to see her incredible commitment to founders unfold.
Achadjan will be the second female partner at Index, following Sarah Cannon, another former Google employee at its Capital G equity fund.
