Leaf Trade Raises $4.5 Million for Cannabis Software

Chicago based Leaf Trade, which provides enterprise software for the cannabis industry, raised new funding.

Reported by Chicago Inno, the startup raised $4.5 million in funding from Hyde Park Angels and Duke Software Investments, both leading this round. Chingona Ventures also participated in the round.

Leaf Trade, founded in 2017, will use the funding to expand into new states and markets, and grow its science and engineering teams. The company currently offers its software in twelve states, and plans to expand to 20 by the end of 2019.
