Kobiton Raises $5.2 Million for its Mobile App Experience Business

Atlanta based startup Kobiton announced it raised new funding to improve mobile app experiences.

The startup announced it has raised $5.2 million in  funding from BIP Capital which lead the funding in this round. Supporting institutional investors in this round include KMS Technology and Kinetic Ventures. Individual investors include Jon Hallett, Kevin Lee (the startup’s CEO) and Ken Walters.

This is Kobiton’s second funding round. Its last seed round in September of last year raised $3 million, for a cumulative total of $8.2 million.

Kobiton is a mobile device cloud which lets clients manage the devices they own and access public cloud devices for efficient, comprehensive test coverage. The service reduces costs while increasing productivity so apps go to market sooner.
