Insur-tech Firm Gabi Raises $27 Million

San Francisco based insurance startup Gabi has raised $27 Million in Series B funding, according to a report by Pitchbook.

The funding was led by Mubadala Capital, with participation from Canvas Ventures, Correlation Ventures, CUNA Mutual, among other investors. In the past, Gabi has raised over $39 million in funding from several investors including the aforementioned investors plus a_capital, Correlation Ventures and Northwestern Mutual.

Gabi is the developer of a platform which lets consumers compare home and auto insurance from more than 40 carriers, including Progressive, Travelers, Mercury, Safeco and Nationwide. Gabi says users can see quotes on its app in two minutes, without fees.

The startup, formed in 2016, was valued at $23.5 million, according to Pitchbook.
