A new startup that works with healthcare providers to make bills easier for patients got new funding.
Inbox Health, a fintech/health startup raised $4.4 million in its seed round funding, closing the oversubscribed round after just recently receiving $1.87 million. The round was led by Connecticut Innovations, joined by Metropolis Ventures, I2BF Global Ventures, and StartUp Health, alongside several notable angel investors.
The startup plans to use the proceeds to continue to scale sales and marketing, and invest in engineering to broaden the integration with the billing companies’ ecosystems and enhance the functionality of its market-leading platform.
The company works with more than 200 healthcare providers to asist patients understand their healthcare bill and pay for their care before their visit. Inbox Health was founded in 2014 in New Haven, CT.
