Health Tech Startup Pieces Puts Together New Funding

Dallas based Pieces Technology has landed new funding for its AI based healthcare platform.

The startup has closed on a $256 million Series B funding round, led by Concord Health Partners, along with existing investors Children’s Health of Dallas and OSF Healthcare System. Their previous Series A funding round from March 2016, netted $21.6 million.

Pieces connects health systems and communities to address clinical and social determinants of health, using its clinical analytics engine called Pieces Decision Sciences and Pieces Iris, a social determinant of health platform.

The new funding will accelerate Pieces national distribution of both of these platforms.
