Soundstripe, a production music startup, announced it has closed on $4 million in Series A financing. Vocap Investment Partners provided the funding.
Soundstripe offers royalty-free music for filmmakers to place in their productions. Soundstripe has reported that “tens of thousands” of business customers have already used the service. Two million “micro-licenses” have been issued in 130 countries since it launched in 2016.
The investment will help the Nashville based startup expand its presence in music production and invest in original content.
