Durham, NC based BioSkryb announced it now has $11.5 million in seed capital, thanks to Anzu Partners, which led the round, with participation from Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich, and Rosati. The developer of genomic amplification tech will use its funding to accelerate its product roadmap and commercialization efforts to enable enhanced levels of genomic and transcriptomic analyses for transnational research and clinical diagnostics.
Fishbowl, based in New York, raised $5.3 million in Series A funding to help professionals communicate with each other in a professional networking platform. The round was led by GGV Capital and Alex Zhu. Its total funding is now $7.5 million. GGV managing partner Hans Tung has joined Fishbowl’s board of directors.
Practifi, a business management platform for financial advisors, family offices and broker dealers to manage their client relationships, automate workflows and other functions, raised $16.3 million in Series B funding. Updata Partners led the round, with participation from Equity Venture Partners. Practifi plans to use the funding to grow its team, world wide presence and invest in its software platform.
