EnsureDR, a disaster recovery platform, announced it raised new funding.

The San Jose, California based startup announced it has raised $2.5 million in Series A funding from a single investor, Awz Ventures.

EnsureDR provides a platform that identifies and repairs problems prior to a disaster situation by operating secondary sites automatically, on a weekly basis so that a company can function properly even when disaster strikes.

The platform’s management tools include a dashboard and a comprehensive report.
