EmployStream Raises $7 Million For Staffing Automation

EmployStream, a Cleveland, Ohio based provider of onboarding automation for the staffing industry, announced it has completed its latest funding round.

The $7 million Series B funding round was led by Plymouth Growth Partners, with the assistance of several investors including JumpStart, Ohio Innovation Fund, Rev1 Ventures, and North Coast Angel Fund.

“There’s an enormous opportunity for intuitive tools in employee onboarding. Our plan is to double down and be the best provider to serve this space, said Gerald Hetrick, CEO of EmployStream, in a statement announcing the funding round. “Staffing agencies and other high-volume hirers are increasingly looking for a rich candidate experience and workflow automation. We offer the most complete solution in these areas and plan to significantly expand our platform with this new capital.

Adds Evan Ufer, Partner at Plymouth Growth Partners, “The EmployStream team has built a powerful, easy-to-use, and candidate-focused onboarding platform for the staffing industry.” Ufer will join the company’s board of directors as part of the funding agreement.

EmployStream plans to use the new capital to expand its product development efforts, increase its staffing industry footprint and  drive innovation of ideas inspired by its customer base.
