Austin, Texas based startup Shipwell announced it raised new funding for its commercial shipping business.

The startup announced it has raised $35 million in Series B funding from Georgian Partners, which lead the funding in this round. Supporting investors in this round include Village Global, Base10, BoxGroup, Fifth Wall, and First Round Capital. All of these except Georgian Partners are incumbent investors.

Shipwell was founded to be an automated, easy way for any business to ship anything anywhere. It uses a combination of services, applications and infrastructure to put its clients entire supply chain in a single unified API that clients can integrate into their business and connect their supply chain.

“Simply put, we wanted to take an entire supply chain and put it in a single pane of glass united behind a RESTful API to integrate, automate, and optimize how you run your business,” said Greg Price CEO and Co-founder and Jason Traff, President and Co-founder of Shipwell, in a blog post.

The startup says it has attained more than 4,000 customers, including Hello Fresh, Exxon Mobil, Glencore Agriculture, Green Chef, and Lumi.
