ChowNow’s New $21 Mill To Boost Eatery Ordering Platform

Venice, California based ChowNow announced it has raised $21 million in Series C Funding. Its the third funding round for the startup in five years that has thus far yielded a grand total of $51 million.

ChowNow helps restaurants take orders from their website, social networks, and branded iOS and Android apps. It also just launched a new website, orderbetter.com, that helps independent restaurants avoid getting hit with excessive fees from some third-party delivery apps.

ChowNow currently has 11,000 clients in the U.S. and Canada, and has generated over 1 billion transactions through its platform, according to the company.

It’s latest funding round is boosted by 3L Capital and Capitalist Ventures.
