Chargebee, a startup that’s focused on making subscription service tools more accessible and orderly, just accessed new funding.

Thanks to Series D funding led by Steadview Capital, Chargebee is now $14 million richer, with its total funding up to nearly $40 million. Insight Partners and Accel joined in the funding round for the Salt Lake City based firm.

Chargebee has seen steady growth in the last few years as the subscription market has heated up. The company reports year-on-year growth is up over 150%, and they are now processing over $2 billion in worldwide subscription revenue. It began life as an automated billing company that evolved later into managing subscription workflows to managing and simplfying recurring revenue for SaaS and subscription operations.

This is Chargebee’s fifth fundraising round since October 2012.
