Brightfield Lands $53 Million for Workforce Data Platform

Brightfield announced it raised new funding to boost its extended workforce platform.

The startup announced it has raised $53 million in Series A funding from Sapphire Ventures which lead the funding in this round. Supporting investors include Mission OG, Capital One Growth Ventures, and Telescope Partners.

Brightfield offers a market intelligence software platform called Talent Data Exchange, which is used by IT, procurement, finance and human resource heads to manage workforce spending in a enviroment where more corporate personnel are part of a “extended workforce” which includes gig workers, temporary employees, consultants, freelancers and contract workers.

Since Brightfield launched the AI influenced software in 2015, 300 organizations across over 15 industry verticals and 100 countries have used the TDX software.
