Brand Communication Startup Nudge Rewards Raises $9.3 Million

Nudge Rewards, which provides mobile-centric solutions to frontline employee communication for experienced based brands, announced it has secured more funding and added to its board of directors as a result.

The $9.3 million growth round led by Jump Capital was also assisted by several other existing investors. Toronto, Canada based Nudge plans to use the funding for scaling its go-to-market capacity, and growing its Data Science team.

Mobile based Nudge helps frontline teams succeed by providing retail, foodservice and hospitality organizations tools to improve frontline employment engagement and performance. Nudge, which is based on a foundation of behavioral theory and social mechanics, reports that it “delivered nearly 10 million nudges to the frontline to date”  and received an average of 4.7 app rating from numerous worldwide reviews.

It’s customer base includes Roots, Margaritaville, Samsung, and Golf Town.

As part of the funding agreement, Jump Capital’s managing partner Michael McMahon will join the startups’ board of directors. Nudge Rewards was founded by Goodchild, Dessy Daskalov (Chief Technical Officer) and Jordan Ekers (Chief Customer Officer).
