Austin Gets Two Funding Winners, Bloomscape Wins $7.5M

AUSTIN TXNew Knowledge, an information integrity startup, received $3 million in funding from Build Group and Lux Capital. It plans to expand its operations and heighten its new enterprise platform which manages social media manipulation. Career planning software maker TalentGuard raised $4 million from Live Oak Venture Partners. It plans to expand its sales and marketing initiatives and launch new products.

DETROIT – Direct to consumer botanical care startup Bloomscape raised $7.5 million from Revolution Partners, Endeavor, and several individual investors including Warby Parker co-founders Neil Blumenthal and Dave Gilboa, Away co-founder Jen Rubio, and Eventbrite co-founder Kevin Hartz.

JACKSONVILLE, FLePayRails, a Payment as a Service (PaaS) provider, nabbed $2.45 million in Series A funding from Aspire Fund Management. They will expand their ePayRails Payment Hub, invest in their sales and marketing capabilities, and back office client support.

OREM, UT Slingshot, which provides a customer engagement platform for home services providers, raised $2.4 million in seed funding from RET Ventures. The funding will help expand into new home services, grow its operations and make strategic investments in research and development.

SAN MATEO, CAArmory helps companies deploy software to multiple multiple clouds quickly and safely. The company received $28 million from Insight Venture Partners (lead), Y Combinator, Bain Capital Partners, Crosslink Capital, Javelin Venture Partners, and Mango Capital.

SAN FRANCISCO Altitude Networks received $9 million from leader Felicis Ventures, joined by Slack Fund, Accomplice, and Alex Stamos. The company has the cloud industry’s first collaboration security platform to provide better security, governance and compliance for popular platforms such as G Suite, Office 365 and Slack.
