Aural Analytics Raises $4.3 Million in Seed Funding

Aural Analytics, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, has raised new funding to develop the world’s most advanced speech analytics platform.

The startup announced it has raised $4.3 million in seed funding from Tamarisc and Morningside Venture, both lead investors. Arizona Tech Investors, Desert Angels, and individual investors Marc Abramowitz and Jamie Gates also joined in the funding for Aural Analytics. The National Science Foundation also supplied a Small Business Innovation Research  phase II grant to the company.

The digital health company is currently developing the world’s most advanced speech analytics platform, aided by 25 years of speech neuroscience research and data. Founded by Julie Liss, Ph.D. and Visar Berisha, Ph.D. , the company combats neurological diseases and injuries by using brain health data available in speech signals with scientifically and technically viable speech analytics technology.

Aural Analytics will use the funding to further expand its clinical trial platform, release worldwide its next-generation integration portal to support easy speech collection and analytics. It will offer new neurology focused content, and a series of tool kits for researchers to discover new breakthroughs in speech neuroscience and speech analytics.
