AI Startup SparkCognition Raises $100 Million

SparkCognition, a Austin, Texas based artificial intelligence startup announced it has raised new financing.

AustinInno reported that the company raised $100 million in Series C funding, led by March Capital Partners. According to Pitchbook, the investment puts SparkCognition at $770 million, nearly a quarter of a million away from unicorn status.

So far, SparkCognition has already raised $175 million since it was launched in 2013.

The company uses AI for many different applications, including energy, defense, manufacturing, Diana coal and aviation. It’s platform can predict future problems in an institution and make more efficient, trouble-free factories.
